OUR STRATEGY

We are pleased to announce the formation of the Coalition for Enterprise Open Source Software in Government (CEOSSG) serves to advocate greater utilization of enterprise open source software (OSS) by federal agencies. The coalition’s goal is to become the leading industry advocate on Capitol Hill and within the administration for communicating the benefits associated with the utilization of enterprise-class open source software solution.

Assess federal policy gaps relating to the usage of enterprise open source software and develop targeted legislative and agency remedies.

Educate federal information technology stakeholders in the Executive Branch and in Congress on the distinctions between Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and Enterprise Open Source Software solutions (EOSS).

Engage with Members of Congress associated with the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act
